LAPAROSCOPIC SPLENECTOMY: TECHNIQUE

1. Start dissection at inferior polar vessels



3. Free spleen with ultrasound dissector



5. Secure splenic hilar vessels with endoscopic vascular stapler

2. Secure by clips, then divide vessels



4. Dissect hilar vessels



6. Pack spleen in plastic bag for morecllation
